I will work with you to analyze your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to identify what is not serving you and help you develop strategies to change your unhelpful and upsetting automatic thoughts. Creating new neural pathways that lead to more positive thinking patterns is the goal. CBT can help you process and move past trauma, low self-esteem, irrational fears, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and more. Numerous research studies have shown CBT to lead to significant improvement in one's quality of life and ability to function in day to day life. Our amygdala (also known as the fight-or-flight response) is responsible for triggering the stress response in our bodies and releasing stress-related hormones into the bloodstream. Most of us have our amygdala in charge way more often than we want, so tapping is a powerful technique that I will teach you for releasing stress and trauma that get stored in our body.
